First Light: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Well, this lens is a keeper! I did some trailblazing off the entrance road to Lake Wallkill to take a few test shots with the new 10-22mm. The two of the stream came out fairly sharp despite hand-holding at somewhat long exposure times. Very little tweaking in Aperture was needed, just a touch of the Shadows slider to lighten up the foreground rocks a bit. The tree roots caught my eye while climbing back onto the road; conversion to monochrome and heavy red filtering (100/16/-16 RGB) to darken the spaces between background trees.
